Chief Executive Officer
Jason Travis

Jason brings over 30 years of construction operation experience to the Municipal and Energy Industries. As the CEO, Jason works to oversee the company’s budget, manages company resources, sets the organization’s strategic direction and revenue goals, drive the company culture, and leads other members of the C-level officers and executive management. Jason also serves as the company’s face while also watching industry changes and accessing areas of opportunity for future company growth. Jason started his management career in New Orleans working in Water/Wastewater and relocated to the Houston area in 2003. From there, he moved to The Woodlands and transitioned his skills into Oil & Gas and Renewable Energy.

Ms. Anderson brings 20 plus years of Finance and Accounting leadership to Kinghorn Construction Group. Ms. Anderson holds a bachelor’s degree in Management Science with an Emphasis on Mathematics and Computer Science and an Executive Master’s degree in Business Administration. Ms. Anderson’s unique background in both accounting and computer science has allowed her to successfully manage the accounting side of the business as well as leverage her skills in both process and software integration building efficiency to all aspects of the organization.

James Hattingh brings over two decades of experience in Engineering, Construction, EPC, Project Management, and Business Development, having worked across the Mining, Energy (conventional and renewable), Specialty Chemicals, and Oil & Gas sectors on four continents. As Vice President of EPC at Kinghorn Construction Group, James oversees engineering, procurement, and construction activities, ensuring seamless project delivery from concept through completion. His global expertise allows him to lead complex, large-scale projects with a strong focus on safety, quality, and efficiency, including pioneering initiatives in renewable natural gas and solar. James values Kinghorn’s innovative approach to solving challenges and takes pride in contributing to the company’s continued growth and success across both the heavy industrial and renewable energy sectors.

Michael Hodges

Michael brings over 15 years of experience leading safety, health, and environmental programs across the energy, manufacturing, and pipeline sectors. As Kinghorn’s Director of HSE, Michael oversees safety strategy, training initiatives, and environmental compliance across all operations. His background includes leadership roles at Baker Hughes, Strike LLC, Geodynamics, and EagleRidge Energy, where he led a major cultural transformation and implemented a methane mitigation plan that saved millions in emissions costs. A certified OSHA Outreach Trainer and recognized speaker on environmental risk, Michael brings deep expertise in air quality, regulatory strategy, and risk management. He is also a U.S. Navy veteran and former law enforcement officer.

Maria Gregory

Maria brings over 10 years of Sales & Business Development to the Energy Industry. As the Director of Business Development & Marketing, Maria oversees, plans, and develops strategic methods for driving revenue, growth, and customer relations. Maria started her business development journey in the Oil and Gas Industry in the Rocky Mountain region, cultivating relationships with prospective customers. Maria continues to establish relationships throughout the United States and has strategized the roadmap of how to increase existing business as well as create new business opportunities, helping the company diversify into other energy sectors. Currently, she manages the marketing strategies for construction services to Midstream Oil and Gas, Solar and Wind, RNG, and Mining industries. Maria brings experience with stakeholder engagements, sales enablement & the branding of Kinghorn Construction Group.

As Director of Business Development, Todd leads initiatives across the Midstream sector while also pursuing opportunities in emerging markets like Carbon Capture, Utilization & Storage (CCUS) and Renewable Natural Gas (RNG). Todd’s career began on the Electrical & Instrumentation side of the industry and grew through roles at engineering firms and general contractors, giving him a well-rounded perspective across all phases of industrial construction. His insight into client needs and ability to drive results make him a key asset in Kinghorn Construction Group’s continued expansion.

Joe Alvarez

Joe Alvarez is a General Manager at Kinghorn Construction Group, bringing 40+ years of industrial facility construction experience across civil, mechanical, and I&E scopes. He leads company-wide field operations and client delivery—building high-performing teams, standardizing execution plans, and driving safety, quality, and schedule from early constructability through commissioning and turnover. Joe’s background spans estimating, QA/QC, commissioning, and standing up new service lines, which he leverages on brownfield upgrades, meter and compressor stations, plant expansions, multi-discipline tie-ins, and other complex facility projects nationwide. He’s known for clear communication in operating environments, proactive risk management, and a practical, hands-on approach that keeps work moving and stakeholders aligned.
